Ingredients:

  • 4 cups (about 340 g) frozen crinkle-cut French fries
  • 6-8 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup blanched almonds
  • 3/4 cup olive oil, plus more
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and ground black pepper
  • Pita chips and/or vegetable sticks (carrots, celery, bell peppers) for dipping into the sauce
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the fries on a baking sheet and bake until golden brown and heated through, about 10 minutes.
  • Step 2
  • Place the garlic, almonds, and olive oil in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.

    Add the fries, lemon juice, 1 1/4 cups water, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Pulse until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Serve with pita chips and/or vegetables.
