How to behave in a restaurant

It's been observed that few people know how to behave in a restaurant. This is especially evident when meeting clients or business partners.
Here's what to consider when going to a restaurant:
1. Appropriate attire

You must dress as the occasion requires.
If you are going to have breakfast or lunch with friends, it is enough to dress casually.
If you have lunch official meeting, you must wear a business suit. Even if you don't want to wear a full suit, you can wear jeans and a formal shirt or jacket. This applies to both men and women.
2. The first course should be ordered by the business partner or client you are meeting with.
3. Plan events, if you're the host. If you've gathered to solve a problem and have a light snack, then eat, decide, and leave. You can't sit at the table all day after all the dishes have been eaten. This could result in a waiter approaching you with a check demanding payment, or a manager reprimanding you for taking too long. You won't look good in front of your colleagues.
5. Don't boast that you can drink a lot. This will be a turnoff for those who don't drink at all. It will also be a turnoff for those who don't have much money. It's also a good idea to have an idea of how much money you have. If you don't have much money, tell the waiter your budget in advance.
6. If you don’t like the food or drinks, call the manager. There's no point in scolding the waiter; he has nothing to do with it. Be polite to everyone.
7. Don't take pictures of food. It's become fashionable to photograph everything. So, it's best to do this in a cafe, but avoid it in a restaurant. However, if you're with a customer who does this, don't criticize them, especially if they're foreign.
8. Don't rely on someone else's choice. If you're going out to dinner with your family, it's perfectly acceptable to choose the same dishes as someone else in your family. You already know their tastes and will happily eat what they order. It's a completely different story when you're going out to a restaurant with a colleague or client. Their tastes may be unfamiliar to you, and you might not like what they order.
9. Don't criticize employees.

If you went to a restaurant with colleaguesDon't say anything negative about coworkers or colleagues who don't eat lunch with you. While eating, you should only talk about positive things or say nothing at all. Once you get back to the office, you can say negative things there, but don't do it over lunch.
Start doing at least as we advise, and you will feel that people will treat you completely differently!
