Ingredients:

  • 4 pears Williams or Bosk varieties
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sliced ​​almonds
  • 1/4 tsp apple pie seasoning
  • 1/4 cup melted butter, plus extra for greasing
  • 1 tbsp cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • Honey, for drizzling on top
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

  • Preheat oven to 190°C.
  • Step 2
  • Combine the oats, brown sugar, almonds, and apple pie spice. Stir in the butter, then the cranberries and raisins.
  • Step 3
  • Cut the pears in half (do not peel) and remove the cores. Place the halves in a baking dish and brush the tops with melted butter.
  • Step 4
  • Press the oatmeal filling into the center of each pear. Bake, uncovered, for 25 minutes. The pears should be soft and the filling lightly browned.
  • Step 5
  • Serve warm for breakfast, drizzled with honey and yogurt, or as a dessert with ice cream.
