Ingredients:
- 4 pieces of skinless and boneless chicken breast, 200-250 g each
- Olive oil for drizzling chicken + 2 tbsp.
- Grill seasoning mix or salt and pepper
- 4 sub sandwich buns, cut in half
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 large mushroom caps, sliced
- 1 sweet green pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano, 1/3 handful
- 0.5 cups dry red wine or chicken or beef broth
- 1 can (400 g) of pureed tomatoes
- 2 - 3 tbsp. l. chopped parsley
- 150 g thinly sliced provolone cheese
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.

Preparation:
- Step 1
- Heat a grill pan or large skillet. Drizzle the chicken with oil and rub it in. grill seasoning mixture or salt and pepper. Fry in a frying pan for 6 minutes on each side. Step 2
- Preheat oven to broil and lightly toast buns on a baking sheet. Step 3
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, mushrooms, bell pepper, onion, and oregano. Saute the vegetables, season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, then pour in the wine or broth. Scrape the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon or spatula to remove any browned bits. Stir in the tomatoes and parsley. Step 4
- Slice the chicken breasts at an angle and place them in the sauce. Place the chicken and vegetables in split buns and top with provolone cheese. Toast in the oven until the cheese melts and serve.
