Sloppy Joe Sloppy Joe Sloppy Joes are one of the few burgers that don't require any effort to prepare the patty. The buns are topped with a simple meat sauce and optional vegetables, typically found on sandwiches. Mushrooms are ideal for making a vegan Sloppy Joe. They give the sauce a meaty texture, which is perfectly complemented by walnuts. Serve the burger with lettuce or shredded cabbage, spicy pickled peppers, and green onions, and enjoy, trying not to get messy—after all, the burger got its name for a reason.
