Ingredients:

  • 450 g ground beef (neck)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pickles
  • 1 block with 12 pull-apart buns
  • 6 slices of cheese
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Mix mayonnaise, chili sauce And hot sauce in a small bowl; chill until ready to serve.
  • Step 2
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and ground beef, season with 1.5 teaspoons of salt and a few pinches of ground pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until browned, 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from heat and toss with the pickles.
  • Step 3
  • Cut the entire block of buns in half horizontally. Place the top and bottom halves of the buns cut-side up. Toast until cooked through, 1 to 3 minutes. Remove from the oven and preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Step 4
  • Spread both sides of the buns with spiced mayonnaise. Spread the filling on the bottom of the bun in a thick, even layer; top with cheese. Top with the top bun. Bake until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, 10 to 12 minutes.
