Jasmine Tea Cocktail with Whiskey

Enjoy the combination of whiskey and jasmine in this refreshing cocktail. It's made with sweetened green tea and jasmine. Add Irish whiskey to taste and serve over plenty of ice with lemon wedges. Garnish with dried jasmine flowers, if desired.


Ingredients:

  • 8 bags of jasmine green tea
  • 240 - 360 ml of Irish whiskey
  • 0.5 cups of sugar
  • Lemon wedges, for garnish
  • Dried jasmine flowers, for garnish, optional
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Pour 4 cups of water into a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the sugar and stir until dissolved. Let cool for 2 minutes. Add the tea bags, stir, and let steep for 3 minutes. Remove the tea bags and strain the liquid back into the saucepan.
  • Step 2
  • Pour the tea into a container and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Fill four 12-ounce (360 ml) highball glasses or Mason jars with ice. Add 2-3 ounces (60-90 ml) of whiskey and 8 ounces (240 ml) of tea to each glass. Garnish with lemon slices and dried jasmine flowers, if using.
