Fried Onion Dip

How to Make Fried Onion Dip
Time: 1 hour 50 min.
Complexity: easily
Servings: 7

This onion dip is a great accompaniment to potato chips. It's made with a mixture of sour cream and mayonnaise, to which sweet and spicy caramelized onions are added. To ensure the onions release their sugars and caramelize perfectly, it's important to cook them slowly, stirring, until they're evenly golden brown. Make the dip ahead of time and let it sit for a while to allow all the flavors to meld.
