Make a delicious party appetizer. Serve fried mozzarella sticks on a large platter, french fry-style, topped with crispy bacon, green onions, and sour cream. Guests won't be able to leave the plate!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package (700 g) frozen mozzarella sticks, such as Farm Rich
  • 450 g bacon, cut into 0.5 cm pieces.
  • 1 piece (200 g) sharp cheddar, grated
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Prepare mozzarella sticks according to package directions.
  • Step 2
  • Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon, stirring occasionally, until crisp, 7-8 minutes. Transfer with a slotted spoon to a paper towel-lined plate.
  • Step 3
  • Sprinkle the mozzarella sticks with cheese and continue baking until the cheese is melted, another 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a platter and top with fried bacon and green onions. Drizzle with sour cream.
