Before assembling the pizza, slices of beef steak are marinated in a mixture of Coca-Cola and spices, which imparts a multifaceted flavor and makes the meat tender. To slice the steak very thin, place it in the freezer for a while until it firms up a bit. Bake a pizza with steak, caramelized onions, smoked mozzarella, and Gorgonzola for a whole range of flavors.

  • 110 g Italian dressing
  • 30 g chopped garlic
  • 30 ml soy sauce
  • 15 grams of salt
  • 15 g ground black pepper
  • 900 g thinly sliced ​​steak

Pizza
  • 1 ball of pizza dough weighing 540 g.
  • 8 slices provolone
  • 2 handfuls of grated smoked mozzarella
  • 1 cup caramelized onions
  • 1 cup gorgonzola

Caramelized onions
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 3 large white onions
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Marinated steak:

    Combine cola, dressing, garlic, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Add the steak. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.

  • Pizza:

    Preheat oven to 290°C. Stretch the dough ball into a 45cm circle. Arrange the provolone slices on top of the dough, then sprinkle evenly with mozzarella. Evenly distribute the steak slices. Then evenly distribute the caramelized onions. Crumble the Gorgonzola and sprinkle on top of the onions.

    In a large skillet, heat the butter and a little olive oil over medium-low heat. Add the onion and sprinkle with brown sugar. Sauté, adding a little olive oil as needed and stirring occasionally, until golden brown, about 45 minutes.
