Ingredients:

  • 250 g frozen puff pastry, defrosted
  • 0.25 cup corn flour
  • Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 100 g soft low-fat cheese with herbs
  • 1 cup crumbled cooked bacon
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Step 2
  • Sprinkle some cornmeal on a flat, clean surface. Roll the dough out onto the cornmeal. Spread the mustard evenly over the dough, leaving a 1.5 cm border around the edges. Sprinkle the cheese over the mustard. Sprinkle with bacon.
  • Step 3
  • Roll out the dough as if for a swiss roll and cut into 1.5 cm (0.6 in) pieces. Place the rolls, cut side down, on a baking sheet, 5 cm (2 inches) apart. Brush each roll with olive oil. Bake until golden brown, 12-15 minutes. Serve warm.
