This homemade version of the popular Starbucks pink drink is quick and easy to make. Its main ingredient is acai berries, which give the drink its charming soft pink color. Once the acai tea has steeped and cooled, the refreshing drink is ready in just 5 minutes!

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup freeze-dried strawberries
  • 1 bag of acai tea
  • 2 tbsp. l. agave syrup
  • 0.5 cup coconut milk
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • In a small food processor or with the back of a spoon, puree half of the freeze-dried strawberries into a coarse powder.
  • Step 2
  • Brew the tea in 240 ml of hot water, then add agave syrup and crushed strawberries to the hot tea. Let it steep and cool to room temperature, about 30 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Remove the tea bag from the brewed tea. Fill a large glass with ice, then add the tea mixture, coconut milk (stir until smooth), and the remaining freeze-dried strawberries and stir.
