Honey Glazed Salmon

How to Make Honey-Glazed Salmon
Time: 30 min.
Complexity: easily
Servings: 4

This is the easiest recipe for flavorful honey-glazed salmon that the whole family will love. It's ready in half an hour, and besides the fish, it only requires six ingredients. The honey-lime glaze that coats the fish is to die for! Baking the salmon at a high temperature not only speeds up the cooking time but also helps the glaze caramelize deliciously on the surface of the fish.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Preheat the oven to 230°C (430°F). Line a baking sheet with foil. Spray the foil with cooking spray if you plan to eat the salmon skin. If you don't want the skin, you can skip this step. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Step 2
  • Combine honey, lime zest, and juice in a small bowl. Transfer 2 tablespoons of the mixture to another small bowl and set aside. Brush the salmon fillets with the remaining honey-lime mixture.
  • Step 3
  • In a medium bowl, combine brown sugar, cumin, paprika, garlic, 2 teaspoons of salt, and a few grinds of black pepper. Sprinkle the fish with the brown sugar mixture (about 1 heaping teaspoon per serving). Crimp the foil on all four sides to form a border around the salmon, which will help retain the juices.
  • Step 4
  • Bake until the glaze is shiny and golden in spots, and the salmon is firm when pressed, 10-12 minutes. Drizzle the remaining honey-lime mixture over the fish before serving.
