This strong coffee makes a wonderful after-dinner dessert. Italian liqueurs like Amaretto and Sambuca imbue it with wonderful notes of anise and almond, but for an even richer flavor, add vanilla extract when brewing. Serve garnished with whipped cream.


Ingredients:

  • 1 shot of Amaretto
  • 1 shot of sambuca
  • Vanilla-flavored coffee
  • Whipped cream in a can
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Pour amaretto and sambuca into a stemmed glass coffee mug. Fill the mug with coffee and top with whipped cream.
  • Step 2
  • Vanilla-flavored coffee:
    To make flavored coffee, add 1 teaspoon of extract to ground coffee before brewing.
