A recipe for a hot drink made with apple cider, bourbon, and spiced butter with nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves.


Ingredients:

  • 120 g butter, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 3 tbsp. apple cider (apple wine)
  • 1 cup bourbon
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Cream the butter with brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves. Place the mixture in a plastic bag and roll into a 2.5 cm diameter log; freeze for 1 hour.
  • Step 2
  • Pour apple cider into the slow cooker; cover and heat on high for 1 hour. bourbon into six glasses. Then top with hot cider and place a slice of spiced butter on top.
