Brazilian Pave Cake

How to Make - Brazilian Pave Cake
Time: --
Complexity: easily

Pave is a dessert similar to tiramisu, but much more delicious! It doesn't require baking; it's a combination of various cookies (this recipe uses Maria biscuits), creams, fruit, and chocolate.

In Brazil, almost every family has its own pavé recipe, some simpler, others more complex. Some include strawberries, pineapple, and ice cream, while others prefer to fill their pavé with white chocolate and buttercream. Overall, this cake is a great option for experimentation.

  • Step 2
  • Whip the cream with vanilla until fluffy and fold into the butter mixture.
  • Step 3
  • Pour milk into a shallow bowl to moisten the cookies.
  • Step 4
  • Take a glass dish or a plate with high sides, dip the Maria cookies into the milk and then place them on the bottom of the dish.
  • Step 5
  • Alternating layers of cookies with cream and boiled condensed milk, form a cake. Sprinkle roasted peanuts and garnish with a cocktail cherry.
  • Step 6
  • Chill the pavé for 4 hours or refrigerate overnight.
