Ingredients:
- 0.5 cup mayonnaise
- 3 cloves of garlic, 1 finely grated, 2 chopped
- 3 tbsp. l. olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 700 g of ground beef
- 0.5 cup almond needles, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup pitted green Spanish olives, coarsely chopped
- 0.5 cup raisins, coarsely chopped
- 0.5 cup tomato sauce
- 0.5 tsp ground allspice
- 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
- 16 potato buns, cut in half
- Lettuce leaves, for serving

Preparation:
- Step 1
- In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise with the grated garlic, season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside. Step 2
- In a medium skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and cook, stirring, until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook, stirring, until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Let cool slightly. Step 3
- In a large bowl, carefully combine the ground beef, almonds, olives, raisins, tomato sauce, allspice, cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon of salt, distributing the ingredients evenly. Divide the meat mixture into 16 equal portions and form into patties. Step 4
- Wipe out the skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and heat over medium heat. Fry the patties, a few at a time, turning once, until golden brown on each side and medium-rare on the inside, about 2 minutes per side. Serve on potato buns brushed with garlic mayonnaise and with a side of lettuce.
