Salmon burgers

You can add variety to your picnic menu by making burgers with tender grilled salmon patties. This is a worthy and healthier alternative to traditional meat burgers. Poppy and sesame seeds mixed into the fish mince give the patties a unique appearance and a pleasant crunch.


Ingredients:

  • 4 skinless salmon fillets (170g each), cut into large pieces
  • 1 tbsp. grill seasonings
  • 1 tbsp. poppy seeds
  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 3 tbsp chopped dill
  • 0.5 cup softened cream cheese
  • 3 green onions (white and green parts), chopped
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Lettuce
  • Thinly sliced ​​ox heart tomato or ripe tomato
  • Red onion, sliced ​​into rings
  • Crispy Kaiser bun, cut in half and fried
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Light a charcoal grill to medium heat. Grease the hot grate with oil. If you're cooking at home, it's best to use a regular large frying pan instead of a grill pan. Add a little olive oil and heat over medium heat.
  • Step 2
  • Using a meat grinder or food processor, coarsely grind the salmon fillet. Mix it with grill seasoning, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, and dill. Form into 4 patties and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Step 3
  • Fry the patties for 3 minutes on each side until they remain pink in the middle, or 4-5 minutes on each side until the fish is cooked through.
  • Step 4
  • While the cutlets are cooking, combine the cream cheese and green onions in a bowl, add sour cream and lemon juice.
  • Step 5
  • Place on a toasted bun salmon cutlet, lettuce, tomato, onion and spread the creamy spread on the other bun.
