This refreshing, herb-infused fermented dressing will liven up any salad. Add whatever fresh herbs you have on hand, or better yet, several for a burst of flavor. It can also be served as a dip, for example, with chips or fried chicken.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (parsley, chives, basil and/or dill)
  • 1/4 cup sour milk or kefir
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, herbs, and a generous pinch of salt. Add the sour milk and a couple of turns of freshly ground black pepper. Stir.
