Amateurs B-B-Q Often suffer from stomach upset. To avoid this, it's important to store and handle foods properly before and during outdoor cooking, and to fry and serve them properly.

Cooking outdoors is always enjoyable. However, to avoid stomach upsets later, it's important to follow simple hygiene rules for a safe barbecue.

1. Keep all perishable items in the refrigerator until you're ready to use them. There's no point in taking them out early, as they could spoil.

2. Meat must be thoroughly defrosted before cooking. If it's half-frozen, it will only cook on the outside when grilled, leaving the inside raw.

3. Wash your hands before handling food. After handling raw meat or fish, wash your hands as well, especially if you're preparing salad vegetables or other ingredients. Use separate cutting boards, knives, and other utensils for handling raw meat, fish, and other foods.

4. Before you begin grilling, make sure the grill is hot enough. Turn meat and fish over to ensure they cook on both sides.

5. To avoid health problems, check meat for complete doneness, especially chicken, pork, sausages, cutlets, and fish. It's okay if steak or lamb is a little undercooked, although this is generally undesirable.

6. Don't expose meat and other foods to direct sunlight. In general, food shouldn't be left out in the open for longer than 2 hours. Any unused marinated meat or marinade should be discarded and not saved for later use. Such meat is no longer considered fresh, and the marinade it contains is dangerous. Using either the stale meat or the marinade can lead to food poisoning and stomach upset.

7. Don't place raw meat and fish on plates you'll later eat from. Don't pour marinade from them onto grilled foods.

8. If you plan to serve salads, previously cooked meats, and other perishable foods, keep them in the refrigerator until serving.

8. Desserts should be kept in the refrigerator until the main courses are eaten.

9. Barbecue is cooking food over an open flame. Therefore, this process can cause a fire. Read the instructions for your grill beforehand to avoid any unpleasant situations.

To ensure a healthy outdoor experience, you need to follow certain rules. Fire safety and hygiene are key. They should be reviewed periodically to always remember the proper procedures.
