Ingredients:

  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • A pinch of ground cinnamon
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Heat whole milk, condensed milk and vanilla extract in a saucepan over low heat.
  • Step 2
  • Combine cocoa powder, sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon in a bowl. Pour the cocoa mixture into the warm milk mixture and whisk until smooth. Stir constantly, bringing the mixture to a boil.
  • Step 3
  • Once the chocolate has boiled, remove from the stove and pour into mugs.
