Granola

Complexity: easily
Servings: 6
Granola, a popular American breakfast, has long been gaining popularity outside the US. This is not surprising, as granola is much tastier than muesli and porridge, while its nutritional value is almost equally high. Make delicious, crumbly, and crunchy granola from a mixture of rolled oats, various nuts, and raisins. Bake the nuts and oats in the oven at a low temperature, adding brown sugar and maple syrup. Be sure to stir constantly to ensure even toasting and a crumbly mixture. Add the raisins only to the finished mixture; otherwise, they will dry out and become too hard in the oven. The granola is moderately sweet with a slight caramel flavor. Mix it for breakfast with yogurt, milk, or kefir for an energy boost.
