Ingredients:

  • 1 medium red onion
  • 1 hot chili pepper
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 cup cilantro
  • 3/4 cup cheese feta
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • salt to taste
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Dice 1 medium red onion and 1 hot chili pepper. Sauté in 1 tablespoon of olive oil for 6 minutes until tender. Remove the chili pepper after frying, if desired.
  • Step 2
  • Puree in a blender 1 diced avocado, 1 cup cilantro, 3/4 cup feta cheese, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 3 tablespoons olive oil, salt.
  • Step 3
  • Mix the puree from avocado with sautéed onions. Serve with toasted bread.
